Solutions Engineer

Summary

Technical sales role promoting industrial spare parts and automation solutions, handling quotes, demos, and customer support while traveling to sites for business development.

The Solutions Engineer is responsible for marketing and promoting spare parts and solution-based products, including solution items, modifications, reconditioning, refurbishment, machine sourcing, and specification validation. He/She collaborates with Sales & Service Stations, agents, customers, and internal stakeholders to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical and commercial solutions. He/She manages quotation preparation, order processing, delivery coordination, machine and process evaluations, product demonstrations, and engineering support to achieve customer satisfaction and business objectives. He/She also supports marketing activities through technical presentations, seminars, customer visits, and sales support materials.

The Solutions Engineer engages customers to gather feedback and works with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. He/She develops expertise in the company's parts and solutions portfolio and provides product advisory services where required. He/She possesses strong communication and stakeholder management skills and is expected to travel regularly to customer sites for business development, technical review discussions and solutions products sales promotion activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, with relevant experience in spare parts sales, solutions products, factory automation equipment, or industrial machinery industries.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Customer-focused with good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Willing to travel regularly for customer visits, technical discussions, and business development activities.
