Sonography Tech Maternal Fetal Medicine

• Performs routine and complex imaging procedures, setting up equipment and maneuvering transducers to evaluate pathology and structures.
• Submits high-quality images, correct lead markers, and accurate patient records to PACS in a timely manner.
• Maintains equipment safety and functionality, executing quality control procedures and applying lock/tag outs when necessary.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards while keeping procedure, dressing, and storage rooms clean and organized.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Additional Preferences:

• Maternal Fetal Medicine experience
