Sonologist

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

Perform and interpret a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, breast, thyroid, and vascular scans.
Prepare accurate, timely, and comprehensive diagnostic reports for referring physicians.
Conduct Doppler studies and specialized ultrasound procedures as required.
Correlate imaging findings with patient history and clinical information to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Identify and promptly communicate critical or abnormal findings to relevant healthcare providers.
Ensure adherence to established imaging protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within hospital information systems.
Provide professional patient care by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining confidentiality.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including radiologists, gynecologists, surgeons, and physicians.
Mentor junior sonographers and contribute to continuous quality improvement and departmental development initiatives.

Requirements

B.Sc Degree qualification with 5 - 6 years experience.

Salary
N1,000,000 / month.
