Summary

Manages live and recorded audio for performances, setting up equipment, monitoring sound quality in real time, and troubleshooting issues during shows.

We are looking for a highly skilled and dependable Sound Technician / Show Monitoring Specialist to manage and monitor all aspects of live and recorded show audio. This role ensures the seamless execution of sound during performances and real-time monitoring of audio quality throughout events. You will play a key role in delivering a flawless audience experience by maintaining technical excellence and responding quickly to any issues during shows.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, test and operate audio equipment for live shows, rehearsals, or broadcast events.

Monitor sound quality in real-time during performances to ensure clarity, balance, and technical integrity.

Adjust levels, EQs, and mix in response to show dynamics and real-time feedback.

Coordinate with stage managers, performers, and production staff to meet audio needs and show cues.

Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues quickly during live environments.

Maintain detailed logs of sound checks, cue sheets, and any audio incidents during performances.

Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on all audio gear.

Monitor show feeds (e.g., FOH, in-ear monitors, broadcast feeds) to ensure consistent quality across all channels.

Ensure compliance with venue or broadcast standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Preferably with Sound/Audio technician background

Preferably has experience in mixing, recording, syncing, and reproducing sound for various purposes.

Preferably has experience in using OBS/Vmix
Good / Great communication skills both written and speaking.

Ability to problem solve.

Has great attention to details

Appreciation of Music.
