The role combines technical sourcing, supplier development, project management, and portfolio support. You will contribute to new business initiatives, remanufacturing programs, and capital projects while helping build a resilient and competitive supplier network across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Localization

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned mechanical and technical commodities.
  • Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to support localization initiatives and regional growth.
  • Lead RFQ exercises, supplier evaluations, price negotiations, and supplier selection decisions.
  • Partner with suppliers to ensure components meet engineering, quality, and operational requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, quality, operations, and business stakeholders to understand technical specifications and cost objectives.
  • Support the localization of components and products from design through implementation.
  • Coordinate with teams across Asia to ensure smooth project execution and supply continuity.

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to achieve competitive pricing, reliable delivery, and high-quality performance.
  • Manage supplier contracts and commercial agreements to mitigate supply risks and improve accountability.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions where required.

Project & Portfolio Support

  • Support sourcing activities for new product introductions, remanufacturing projects, and CAPEX initiatives.
  • Conduct cost analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations, and sourcing recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve cost, quality, and supply reliability.

Digitalization & Process Improvement

  • Leverage digital tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve sourcing efficiency and supplier management.
  • Utilize translation and engineering analysis tools to support localization of technical documentation and drawings.
  • Support process automation and data-driven decision making within the sourcing function.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
