Sourcing Executive
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage Product Quotation Requests (PQR) and RFQ processes across internal teams
- Review Bills of Materials (BOM), identify material requirements, and assign / engage appropriate suppliers for RFQs
- Consolidate supplier quotations and raw material pricing to support accurate and timely customer quotations
- Lead sourcing activities for raw materials to ensure cost competitiveness and supply continuity
- Perform supplier negotiation, price benchmarking, and cost optimisation initiatives
- Analyse costing, sourcing data, and operational requirements to support quotation and business decisions
- Collaborate with Sales and Product Engineering teams on BOM, costing, and RFQ-related matters
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships while identifying new sourcing opportunities
- Maintain accurate pricing and sourcing data in systems (e.g. SAP, Agile)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing and quotation efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support ad hoc sourcing, RFQ, and cross-functional projects as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in RFQ, sourcing, procurement, or costing-related roles
- Experience in manufacturing or EMS environment is preferred
- Familiarity with BOM review, RFQ processes, and costing will be an advantage
- Proficiency in SAP, Agile, or Google Workspace is a plus
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Well-organised with good time management skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
