Job Purpose:
Support the development and execution of local and sub-regional sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply continuity across assigned categories. Work closely with local procurement teams and business stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and recommend best-in-class suppliers. Lead and support sourcing initiatives, including negotiations and tenders, primarily for contracts under €50k/year and selected light sourcing projects above €50k/year, ensuring alignment with global and regional procurement standards.
Your tasks:
- Provide professional sourcing support for local and sub-regional business initiatives, including category-specific procurement activities
- Conduct supply market research and intelligence gathering to support informed business decisions, budgeting, and sourcing strategies
- Support the development and implementation of local and sub-regional category strategies aligned with regional and global frameworks
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend qualified suppliers, ensuring competitiveness in cost, quality, and service
- Prepare, support, and participate in supplier negotiations and tenders (including e-sourcing activities), working alongside more senior sourcing colleagues when required
- Establish and manage local supplier contracts and ensure effective implementation and compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement data, including supplier records, pricing, contracts, spend, and project tracking in procurement systems
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and standards across business units
- Maintain and update supplier databases, including classification, performance tracking, and identification of new sourcing opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business units to understand demand requirements and service expectations
- Contribute to cross-country and regional sourcing collaboration to drive efficiency and knowledge sharing
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Economics, or a related field or equivalent professional experience/qualification in procurement or sourcing
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain-related roles
- Exposure to supplier management, tendering, or contract negotiation is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market and supplier data
- Ability to support negotiations and contribute to cost optimization initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and international environment
- Familiarity with procurement systems and data management tools
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Fluent in English and Bulgarian
