# Sourcing Manager ## Company Overview *Not specified.* ## Job Summary Gully Labs is seeking a **proactive, data-driven Sourcing Manager** to oversee raw material sourcing, vendor development, purchase order management, inventory coordination, and cost optimization within its footwear operations. The role aims to establish a reliable vendor ecosystem, ensure timely material availability, enhance procurement efficiency, and reduce sourcing costs—all while maintaining quality and delivery standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building strong vendor relationships, maintaining structured supplier data, and driving process improvements to support the company's growth and operational excellence. ## Responsibilities - **Vendor Development & Sourcing:** Build and maintain a comprehensive vendor database for footwear raw materials, evaluate and onboard vendors based on cost, quality, lead time, and capacity, and develop alternative suppliers to mitigate supply risks. - **Procurement Planning & Order Tracking:** Convert production requirements into procurement plans, manage the entire purchase order lifecycle, track vendor commitments, and coordinate with production and stores teams to ensure material availability. - **Vendor Performance Management:** Monitor vendor performance on delivery, quality, and responsiveness; conduct regular reviews; resolve issues related to quality, delays, and commercial disputes; and maintain contingency plans for critical suppliers. - **Cost Optimization & Commercial Management:** Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions; analyze purchase cost variances; identify cost-saving opportunities; and evaluate total sourcing costs including freight and inventory holding. - **Inventory & Stores Management:** Track raw material inventory, monitor stock levels, conduct stock reconciliations, establish reorder points, and minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and wastage. - **Data Analytics & Process Excellence:** Develop procurement dashboards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and identify recurring issues through data analysis to improve procurement processes and visibility. - **People & Stakeholder Management:** Lead and coordinate sourcing, procurement, and stores teams; define responsibilities and KPIs; and communicate material risks, procurement commitments, and cost implications to relevant stakeholders. ## Qualifications - 3–5 years of experience in **sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain operations**. - Experience in **footwear materials, textiles, apparel, or similar manufacturing inputs** is preferred. - Strong **vendor negotiation, supplier development, and commercial evaluation skills**. - Hands-on experience with **purchase order tracking, inventory management, and stores operations**. - Proficiency in **Excel/Google Sheets** and procurement reporting tools. - Strong **analytical skills, attention to detail, ownership, and stakeholder management**. - Educational qualification: **Bachelor’s degree** in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with procurement software and ERP systems. - Knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes and materials. - Ability to work in a **fast-paced, growing business environment**. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to develop and implement process improvements. ## Experience - **3 to 5 years** of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within footwear or related manufacturing sectors. ## Environment - The role is based in **Noida, Sector 4**, with a typical work schedule of **6 days a week**. - The work environment involves coordination with multiple teams including production, quality, finance, and leadership. - The role may require physical stock checks and working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. ## Salary *Not specified.* ## Growth Opportunities *Not specified.* ## Benefits *Not specified.*
