Responsibilities
• Securing business competitiveness by identifying optimal supply partners and executing strategic procurement.
• Transforming brand concepts into reality & supporting launches.
• Leading, developing, and empowering a high-performing sourcing team to achieve operational excellence and strategic business goals.
• Manages and Develops People: Lead, coach, and develop sourcing team members; foster a collaborative and high-performance culture; set clear objectives, evaluate performance, and support career growth.
• Defines sourcing & implements category strategy: define the best suited supplier portfolio, develop market intelligence tools, and drive changes in market structure.
• Analyses business needs and challenges demand, using VA methodology as part of the culture of need expression.
• Anticipates business activity and acts proactively, using breakthrough sourcing strategies to create value (P&L and Top Line).
• Negotiates with integrity: coach and challenge teams on negotiation strategy, use innovative negotiation levers, unlock stalemate situations.
• Optimizes costs: capture breakthrough ideas from suppliers and maximize value creation opportunities through Cost Models.
• Maximizes Supplier Relationships: create preferred customer relationships with strategic suppliers and drive improvement projects impacting P&L and Top Line.
• Creates value and innovates: capture innovation opportunities, lead strategic projects, manage financial cost and impact, communicate with steering committees.
• Operates according to internal control principles and legal rules: negotiate global high-stake contracts, IP, licensing, and exclusivity agreements.
• Evaluates and manages risks: define and implement risk management policy and manage regulatory risks.
• Defines and deploys supplier sustainability roadmap aligned with Group's PCR, 3R, and science-based targets.
• Manages Performance and efficiency: accountable for sourcing performance, formulates process improvements, and ensures data quality.
• Supports and manages stakeholders' relationships: communicates and manages projects, shares supplier information, and drives Sourcing Share of Voice among stakeholders.
Requirements
• 5 years+ experience in people management or leadership role.
• 5 years+ experience in cosmetics or consumer, ODM/OEM, packaging industry.
• +10 years experience in strategic sourcing or category management.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• English proficiency: professional working knowledge.
• Good business sense, good analytical and presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skill and cross team working spirit.
• Strong leadership, proven capability to inspire, develop teams, and drive cross-functional projects.
Preferred
• Experience of FMCG manufacturing is nice to have.
