We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Rutland. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of high-standard dishes
- Supporting the Head Chef in kitchen management, including stock control and ordering
- Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards and meets health and safety regulations
- Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
- Contributing to menu development and innovation
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Passion for high-quality ingredients and fresh, seasonal produce
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
