- Spa Attendant
Scope of Position
The Spa Attendant is responsible for greeting residents upon arrival, escort them to the locker rooms, salon, fitness areas and hospitality stations. He/She will promote and provide top quality service and hospitality as well as recommend and educate residents and guest on services available at the condominium’s Spa.
Position Requirements
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
- Prior experience in spa industry luxury hotel, club, or condominium environment.
- Positive attitude, punctuality and passion for excellence.
- Safety Oriented First Aid and CPR certification, a plus.
- Guest service experience preferred.
- Handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable about general property information and amenities.
- Escort residents and guests to and from treatment rooms, salon, locker rooms, and fitness and motion studios.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation, treatment rooms, spa/salon locker room, and lounge areas.
- Dispose of trash and dirty linens in the proper area.
- Secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Stock towels, linens, supplies, and amenities in the locker room, fitness, motion and lounge areas.
- Engage with residents and guests; be visible.
- Assist residents with any needs.
- Ensure cleanliness of all areas in the Spa.\
- Maintain and restock the restrooms.
- Transport linen carts back and forth condominium floors.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate in the English language. Multilingual language is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
- Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds.
- Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
