SPA MANAGER
Business Performance
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and strategic business plans for the spa.
- Monitor financial performance, productivity, and expenses to ensure operations remain within approved budgets.
- Analyze business results, prepare monthly performance reports, and implement initiatives to improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Spa Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and compliance with brand standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain spa policies, standard operating procedures, and health, safety, and emergency protocols.
- Promote spa services through collaboration with Sales & Marketing, including customized wellness programs for groups and events.
- Ensure professional handling of all guest enquiries through email, telephone, and in person.
- Monitor service scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships to support seamless operations.
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Review purchase requisitions and supplier invoices for accuracy and approval in accordance with company procedures.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing spa team.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify talent, and implement development plans to build team capability.
- Ensure team members consistently demonstrate professional grooming, service excellence, and adherence to brand standards.
- Develop and facilitate training programs to enhance technical skills, product knowledge, and guest service.
- Prepare staff rosters, payroll, and gratuity reports in line with business demands and labour budgets.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings to communicate objectives, review performance, and encourage team engagement.
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all spa treatments, products, wellness programs, facilities, and hotel services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and local health and safety regulations.
- Foster strong relationships with internal departments, guests, suppliers, and business partners to support operational excellence.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management that contribute to the success of the spa and the resort.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Spa Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in spa management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Sound knowledge of spa operations, budgeting, and guest service standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and spa or hotel management systems.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
