Space-Grade Java Backend Engineer (Hybrid)

Telespazio – Leonardo Space Division in IT - Fucino Space Centre, Italy, is hiring a Junior Software Engineer to join the EASE‑Mission product line. You will engage in requirements analysis, software development, testing, and documentation within a cloud‑native, microservices architecture, collaborating across teams.

The role requires a university degree in computer science and at least 2 years in back‑end web projects (Java 11+, Spring Boot), plus RESTful services, front‑end basics, and English

Requirements analysis and software development. SW configuration control and versioning tasks. Unit testing, integration testing, system testing and validation. SW corrective maintenance and debugging. Drafting and contributing to project documentation (manuals, drawings, user stories, test documents). Participation in technical and progress meetings. University degree in computer science or related discipline. At least 2 years of professional experience in back-end web projects. Experience in building back-end architectures and RESTful services. Front-end graphical interface design experience. Knowledge of version control tools (SVN, GIT). Familiarity with microservice architectures, Docker and Kubernetes.
