Responsibilities:

  • Working with our Leasing Team and prospective tenants to understand their space program needs to create test-fits/space plans for medical office space for Tenant Improvement (TI) projects.
  • Working with our Leasing Team on the development of speculative medical office space suites.
  • Conceptualizing and rendering various value-add Capital Improvement projects (ie common area renovations) across our portfolio.
  • As Capital and Tenant projects come to fruition, working along the Project Manager to oversee the design process with third party local architectural and engineering firms. This would include review of design concepts and drawings for quality, accuracy, and building code compliance.
  • Developing prototypical building finish palettes/standards for a consistent look and feel in portfolio assets.
  • Using AutoCAD (or similar) to produce architectural documents as needed.
  • Adhering to legal and industry standards in design and building codes, following medical industry trends and architectural advancements to ensure best in class medical office space for our Tenants.
  • At all times, strive to develop,maintain, and enhance client relationships
  • Report directly to EVP| Capital and Tenant Improvement Projects


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, and a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a similar or related position OR Associate's degree in Planning, Architecture or related field, and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in a similar or related position.
  • Healthcare experience a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience working with local building codes, ADA, and other applicable laws.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of BOMA standards for floor and square foot measurements in medical office buildings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD applications, and SketchUp (or similar rendering software)
  • Solid time management skills and ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain required performance level in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel on occaison.


Compensation: The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and work location, consistent with applicable state and local pay transparency laws.
