Spare part master data steward (M&E) - ASIA

Manages MRO master data quality, acting as an interface between Operations, Engineering, and IT. Supports SaaS implementation and maintenance process standardization.
In a MRO organization a data steward act as an interface between Operations, engineering and IT. A data steward ensures the adherence of the rules for managing spare parts and the quality, consistency and availability of MRO master data (spare parts). A data steward support the implementation and use of software as a solution (SaaS).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain, validate, and continuously improve MRO master data
- Evaluate and decide on duplicate records and define the leading material
- Define and implement data quality rules and standards
- Support the establishment of a sustainable master data governance organization
- Close collaboration with maintenance teams of production plants espacially with spare part warehouse responsibile persons
- Translate operational requirements into IT/system solutions
- Support the implementation and further development of SaaS data management tools
- Support in establishing warehouse management processes
- Process support for deduplication and inventory management
- Analyze and prepare data using MS Excel
- Collecting data for saving potential
- Ensuring transparency of existing spare parts in the entire company
- Supporting in emergency cases (machine breakdowns) by finding spare parts
- Train-the Trainer concept
- Ensure enough qualified employees in the plant maintenance teams to use SaaS
- Tracking the plants to reach KPI targets
- Support the definition of standardized MRO processes (e.g., material creation, classification, lifecycle management)
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent qualification as a mechanical or electrical master craftsman
- Several years of professional experience in a technical environment (e.g. industrial engineering, maintenance, or production)
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Intercultural competence and ability to work effectively in diverse teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and drive value-adding opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Comprehensive experience in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environments
- Cross-functional experience in industrial engineering or production
- Project management experience
- Proficiency with MS Excel and data analysis tools
