Spare Parts Manager (Automotive)
POSITION OVERVIEW
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory & Database Management: Oversee and maintain the spare parts inventory system, ensuring high accuracy, optimal stock levels, and database integrity.
Demand Forecasting & Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and parts consumption data to forecast future parts requirements and procurement schedules.
Service Operations & Strategy: Plan and coordinate after-sales service and spare parts operations, including special operational projects assigned by management.
Budgeting & Goal Setting: Establish annual operational goals, inventory targets, and departmental budget plans.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the planning team, including coordinators, storekeepers, and maintenance planners.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience: 10 to 15 years of dedicated experience in the automotive industry, specifically within Spare Parts Operations and Service Planning.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP, and database platforms.
Core Competencies: Strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, strategic planning, and communication skills.
