Spare Parts Manager (Automotive)

POSITION OVERVIEW


Lead and optimize spare parts inventory management, demand forecasting, and after-sales service planning. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end parts procurement, managing budget plans, and leading a operational planning team to align parts availability with market demand.


Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inventory & Database Management: Oversee and maintain the spare parts inventory system, ensuring high accuracy, optimal stock levels, and database integrity.

  • Demand Forecasting & Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and parts consumption data to forecast future parts requirements and procurement schedules.

  • Service Operations & Strategy: Plan and coordinate after-sales service and spare parts operations, including special operational projects assigned by management.

  • Budgeting & Goal Setting: Establish annual operational goals, inventory targets, and departmental budget plans.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the planning team, including coordinators, storekeepers, and maintenance planners.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Experience: 10 to 15 years of dedicated experience in the automotive industry, specifically within Spare Parts Operations and Service Planning.

  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP, and database platforms.

  • Core Competencies: Strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, strategic planning, and communication skills.
