Special Education Paraprofessional

Location: Colvill Family Center

Hours: Part-Time (27 hours/week); Monday-Thursday 8:30am-3:00pm (Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch) and Friday's 8:30-11:30am.

Start Date: Upon Hire

Pay Rate: $21.08 – $22.24 / hour based on experience and qualifications, and pursuant to the Red Wing Education Support Personnel Association Master Agreement. (see attachment)

What We Are Looking For:

• A Passion for Kids: You have a genuine desire to support students with diverse learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Team Players: You are organized, responsible, and ready to collaborate closely with classroom teachers.
• Qualifications: You hold an Associate's degree (or higher) OR have passed the ParaPro Assessment.
  • Don't have this yet? If you have a high school diploma and a willingness to take the ParaPro assessment upon hire, we still want to hear from you! We will help you navigate the process to reach "Highly Qualified" status.
• Experience with autism spectrum disorder or learning disabilities is a plus, but not required.
