SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER, PRESCHOOL - FULL TIME

Celebrate the Children School is pleased to announce that we have anticipated openings for full-time Special Education Preschool Teachers for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Celebrate the Children is a well-respected, non-profit, state-approved private school for children with alternative learning styles that has been providing quality education services to the community for over twenty years. At Celebrate the Children our Special Education Teachers are surrounded by staff who are caring, compassionate and dedicated to our program philosophy. Though CTC is a state-approved private school, CTC still requires DOE Certifications.

Requirements for Special Education, Preschool Teacher Include:

• CE/CEAS or Standard Certification in Teacher of Preschool through Grade 3 from NJDOE

• CE/CEAS or Standard TOSD or TOH Standard Certification from NJDOE

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with the special needs population preferred but not required

• DIR experience is preferred but not required

A salary range is provided in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency laws. Final compensation is determined using a structured salary grid that considers relevant years of experience and educational qualifications, subject to applicable New Jersey Department of Education requirements and the discretion of the Board of Directors. The advertised salary reflects a 10-month contracted position.

This is an 11-month position requiring participation in Celebrate the Children's Extended School Year (ESY) program. ESY compensation is calculated separately based on the employee's applicable hourly rate and scheduled ESY hours.
