Position: Special Education Teacher
Qualifications:
- NJ State Special Education and Elementary Certification required
- Ability to instruct elementary special needs school age students
- Knowledge of elementary school curriculum
- Knowledge of special education curriculum
- Ability to work with children at multiple education levels
- Criminal History approval from State of New Jersey
- Experience with positive behavioral supports
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviors
- Background in behavior management techniques is desired
Responsibilities:
- Instruction of students in special education settings
- Provide Progress/Grade Reports/IEPs
- Provide for safety, order, discipline in the classroom
- Effectively communicate with parents
Availability: ASAP
Salary: Contractual
