Key Responsibilities:
Assess the learning, cognitive, and emotional needs of residents.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each resident’s abilities.
Provide academic instruction, life skills training, and social development activities.
Use specialized teaching methods and tools for children and adults with learning disabilities or developmental delays.
Monitor and evaluate progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as required.
Collaborate with social workers, caregivers, and therapists to ensure holistic development.
Maintain records of educational progress, behavior, and attendance.
Create a supportive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Conduct awareness and training sessions for staff and caregivers on special education practices.
