Welcome to the Traegerhood:

Our business is BBQ, and business tastes good. Traeger invented the wood pellet grill over 30 years ago, and we’re fanatics who are dedicated to bringing people together to create a more flavorful world. From our headquarters in Salt Lake City, we work tirelessly to provide a world-class experience to our customers, retailers, and especially our employees. If you’re a team player who’s dedicated to delivering top-quality results every day, then we want you to come cook with us.

Role Overview:

The Special Events Sales Representative is responsible for driving direct-to-consumer sales at Traeger-branded special events and supporting our retail partners in-store and at retailer events nationwide. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to thrive in a high-energy environment, and a passion for closing sales while embodying the Traeger brand experience.

What You’ll Do:

Special Events Sales:

• Engage individual customers at Traeger booths, pitch products, and close sales directly.

• Special Events shows will include travel days, on-site setup and takedown days, and several selling days (up to 21 days)

How You’ll Help Us Win:

• Bring the Traegerhood to life at every event by creating memorable, hands-on customer experiences.

• Deliver exceptional customer engagement that converts interest into brand loyalty and sales.

• Educate customers and dealers on the full Traeger ecosystem — from wood pellets to WiFIRE® connectivity.

• Represent the Traeger brand with passion, authenticity, and enthusiasm in every interaction.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Proven success in high-volume, commission-based sales environments. Traeger Special Events experience is preferred.

• Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.

• High energy, adaptability, and resilience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Frequent travel for events across the U.S.

• Extended workdays, including weekends and holidays during events.

• Ability to work long hours during events (up to 12-hour days, multiple days in a row) standing on your feet.

• Willingness to travel extensively (overnight travel up to 90% of days worked)

• Physical capability to “build” and “break-down” events, build grills for events and dealer setup, and lift and assist with product loading as needed.

• Fast-paced, high-reward sales environment with strong earning potential.

Why You Will Love Working Here:

  • Be part of the most disruptive force in outdoor cooking
  • Join a true team working towards a common goal
  • Culture of risk-taking, innovation, & quality
