Special Project Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic projects and special initiatives assigned by the Director from initiation through successful completion.
- Conduct business analysis, feasibility studies, and strategic assessments to support executive decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, deliverables, resource requirements, and budgets (where applicable), while monitoring project execution against established objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues that may impact project success.
- Drive the implementation of business process improvements, organizational transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and policy changes.
- Prepare project status reports, executive summaries, dashboards, and presentation materials for the Director and senior management.
- Evaluate project outcomes, measure implementation effectiveness, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective project execution.
- Perform other strategic assignments and ad hoc projects as directed by the Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in Project Management, Business Transformation, Corporate Strategy, Business Process Improvement, Management Consulting, or a related discipline.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop strategic recommendations.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with senior leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and uphold a high level of integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
