Special Projects Plumbing and Mechanical Estimator

Magnolia Companies has an immediate opening for a Plumbing and Mechanical Estimator in our Laurel office. Our work covers a vast array of high-profile clients in a wide variety of projects including, but not limited to, government local & federal, schools, healthcare, multi-family, pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing. In this particular role you will prepare and submit bids for opportunities ranging from $25,000 to $3M.

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and pricing retrofit, plan/specs
• Design - build projects for plumbing and mechanical scopes
• Read & review job bid instructions, drawings and specifications
• Preparing accurate take -off and compiling pricing
• Utilize software/quick-pen to build estimates (ie Bluebeam, Trimble or PlanSwift)
• Work in a team-oriented environment to transition awarded projects to the Project Manager
• Manage various RFPs (request for proposals)
