What you'll do:
- Monitor and investigate alarm events, coordinating timely responses with security patrols, fire services, or police as necessary.
- Assist associates during safety or security incidents, ensuring effective communication and support.
- Conduct continuous reviews of fire protection, alarm, and life safety systems to identify potential risks.
- Notify and coordinate corporate responses by distributing advisories and managing incident communications.
- Compile detailed daily and incident reports, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide backup and on-call security support as required, adhering to company policies and procedures.
What you'll bring:
- Knowledge of fire protection, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems, including NFPA 72 standards.
- Experience with life safety systems, alarm devices, sprinkler systems, and low voltage security systems.
- Ability to monitor and investigate alarms, coordinating appropriate emergency responses.
- Strong communication skills to effectively notify and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies.
- Proven capability to compile detailed incident and daily reports accurately.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
- Demonstrated teamwork, accountability, and a focus on continuous improvement in safety and security operations.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
