Specialist Carbon Accounting - CTBC

As a valuable member of the Sustainability Reporting team, the Specialist Carbon Accounting is responsible for the methodology, governance, calculation and continuous development of ContiTech's corporate greenhouse gas accounting across Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3.
The role ensures that carbon emissions are calculated consistently, transparently and in line with applicable standards and reporting requirements. It provides reliable, traceable and audit-ready carbon information for the ContiTech Sustainability Statement and for relevant internal stakeholders.
Working closely with data owners, Business Areas, Group functions and external assurance providers, the role strengthens data quality, methodological consistency and the effective use of carbon information for reporting and decarbonization activities.

• Master's degree in natural sciences, engineering, environmental management, sustainability, business administration, data management or a comparable field; relevant certification in greenhouse gas accounting or sustainability reporting is beneficial.
• Several years of professional experience in corporate carbon accounting, greenhouse gas inventories, sustainability reporting, environmental data management, controlling or a related field.
• Practical experience with Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 calculations, methodological documentation, data validation and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical capability and experience in handling complex datasets and cross-functional data dependencies.
• Ability to manage complex sustainability projects, including developing project plans, and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Business fluent English language skills, both spoken and written
