About the job:
Provide technical support to the chartering team ensuring that all formalities are completed for the chartering activities.
Job specific accountabilities
- Assist in activities relating to the chartering in/out of ships, providing administrative and technical support.
- Prepare related documentation in order to meet requirements for ship utilization in line with standards and requirements.
- Provide technical and administrative assistance during the negotiation phase of the terms of charter to ensure achievement of commercially favorable terms and conditions that meet requirements.
- Prepare reports and document and file relevant market information, ensuring that required information is made available in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain database and contact details of internal and external parties. Receive and advise information as instructed for smooth flow of chartering activities.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a commercial discipline or equivalent qualification.
Eight years of experience in offshore operations and related activities within the oil and gas industry.
