As a specialist colon and rectal surgeon, your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing, managing, and surgically treating a variety of disorders affecting the colon, rectum, and anus. You will work closely with patients, providing comprehensive care and contributing to the continued excellence of the private healthcare team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed patient assessments including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopies and imaging tests.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing patient-specific colorectal conditions.
  • Conduct a broad range of surgical procedures including minimally invasive and complex surgeries.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, focusing on optimal recovery and patient satisfaction.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options, surgical risks, and postoperative care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Continuously update professional knowledge through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid license to practice.
  • Completion of general surgery residency and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery.
  • Proven experience managing and performing surgical treatment for colorectal diseases in a private healthcare setting preferred.
  • High proficiency in a range of colorectal surgical procedures including minimally invasive techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
