Specialist / Consultant - Anesthesiologist & Intensive Care Medicine

Job Summary

We are seeking qualified Specialist and Consultant Anesthesiologists with expertise in Intensive Care Medicine to join leading healthcare facilities in the UAE. Candidates will be responsible for providing comprehensive anesthesia services, managing critically ill patients and delivering advanced perioperative and intensive care support.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional and local anaesthesia for surgical procedures.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualised anaesthesia plans.
• Monitor patients during surgery and manage postoperative recovery.
• Diagnose and manage critically ill patients in Intensive Care Units (ICU).
• Provide advanced airway management and mechanical ventilation.
• Manage emergency cases and life-threatening medical conditions.
• Perform invasive monitoring and critical care procedures.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care with surgeons and other specialists.
• Manage postoperative complications and acute pain.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognised postgraduate specialist qualification in Anaesthesiology.
• Additional qualification or fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine is preferred.
• UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board or equivalent recognised specialist qualification.
• Relevant clinical experience according to the UAE licensing requirements for Specialist or Consultant level.
• Valid professional registration.
• Eligibility for UAE healthcare licensing (DHA / DOH / MOHAP).
