The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis and management of dental pulp and periapical conditions, delivering high-quality root canal treatments and advanced endodontic procedures.
Key responsibilities – endodontics
- Diagnose and manage diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues
- Perform root canal treatments (RCT) and retreatments with high precision and success rates
- Conduct complex endodontic procedures, including management of calcified canals, curved roots, and previously treated teeth
- Perform endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomy) where indicated
- Utilise dental operating microscopes and digital radiography for accurate diagnosis and treatment
- Manage dental trauma cases, including pulp injuries and root fractures
- Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, and oral surgeons for comprehensive treatment planning
- Provide pain management and emergency dental care related to pulpal and periapical conditions
- Ensure infection control and sterilisation protocols are strictly followed
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records in line with regulatory standards
- Participate in clinical audits and continuous professional development activities
Requirements
Qualifications & board recognition
Applications are welcome from dentists holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:
- UK Specialty Training / MEndo / equivalent
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian Dental Council recognised specialist qualification
- Arab Board / recognised regional qualifications
- MDS / FCPS Endodontics or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for DHA / DOH / MOH licensing. Licensing guidance and support will be provided where applicable.
