We are seeking an experienced and compassionate specialist/consultant spine surgeon to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in diagnosing and treating a broad range of spinal disorders, utilizing the latest surgical techniques to provide exceptional patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a multidisciplinary setting focused on advancing spinal care.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with spinal conditions through clinical assessments and diagnostic imaging.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans encompassing surgical and non-surgical options.
  • Perform complex spinal surgeries, emphasizing minimally invasive and innovative techniques.
  • Manage pre-operative preparation and post-operative care to optimize patient recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, physiotherapists, and pain specialists.
  • Educate patients and families on condition management, surgical procedures, and recovery protocols.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge through continuous professional education and research involvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Residency training completed in orthopedic surgery or neurosurgery.
  • Board certification or eligibility in spine surgery preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in spine surgery.
  • Expertise in a broad spectrum of spine surgical procedures, particularly minimally invasive techniques.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
