Specialist Customer Support
About us
Luxire makes custom clothing. Shirts, trousers, jackets — each one cut to a single person’s measurements and shipped to customers across the US, UK and Europe. Nothing we make is off the rack.
The role
Most of our customer conversations happen over email, and most of them aren’t simple.
Someone writes to say the shoulders feel tight. Someone asks whether a fabric will hold its shape after a season. Someone wants to change a collar style two days after ordering, when the cloth has already been cut. Answering these well takes an understanding of how clothes are actually made — and that understanding is the real job.
We’re looking for two people to join our customer experience team and grow into that expertise.
What you’ll do
Answer customer emails about orders, fit, fabric and alterations
Work with our production floor to check where a garment stands
Judge when a fit issue calls for a remake, an alteration credit, or simply a clear explanation
Learn our patterns, fabrics and construction well enough to advise customers confidently
Help write down what you learn, so the next person learns faster

What we’re looking for
Clear, natural written English. This job is writing. It matters more than anything else on this list.
A real feel for clothing and how it’s made. This might come from working in apparel, textiles, retail or tailoring. It might equally come from years of getting things stitched and knowing exactly what to tell a tailor when a fit isn’t right. Both count, and we’d genuinely like to hear about the second kind.
Willingness to reason through a problem rather than apologise and pass it on.
Any length of career break. We care what you know, not when you last held a title.
What you don’t need
Prior customer support or BPO experience
Knowledge of Western menswear terminology — collar constructions, trouser break, sleeve pitch. We’ll teach all of it.
An unbroken CV
