Key Accountabilities
- Monitor systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, or suspicious activity.
- Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents or data breaches.
- Maintain secure access controls and ensure proper user permission management. Develop and update privacy policies in alignment with laws such as UAE Data law, Dubai Data law, DESC security law, GDPR, HIPAA, or local regulations.
- Ensure data handling processes meet compliance requirements.
- Oversee data lifecycle practices, including data collection, usage, storage, and deletion.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments for new systems, software, or projects.
Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma Holder in computer or electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
Experience
- Preferred existing knowledge of the Information Security
