Specialist (Data Warehousing)

Overview

We are seeking a specialist for a fixed-term position in the Database and Data Warehousing Department, part of the Food Authority's Data Solutions Unit. The Data Solutions Unit is responsible for developing digital solutions related to data utilization, processing, storage, and management, as well as providing expert services. The unit employs nearly 50 specialists across Finland and is part of the Food Authority's Digital Services overall structure.

Responsibilities

• As a specialist, you will participate in developing data utilization solutions, particularly from a data warehousing perspective.
• Your responsibilities include data modeling for data warehouses and reports, as well as defining, designing, and implementing data loading processes.
• You will have the opportunity to work on socially significant data solutions as part of the EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP27) digital services development during the programming period.
• The position is fixed-term until the end of June 2029, funded by the CAP27 program.
