Specialist Development Financial Planning And Analysis
Description
The Specialist – Development FP&A will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis activities across development projects and business units. The role is responsible for providing financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to the preparation of management reports, forecasts, and financial models.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts across departments.
- Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure data consistency.
- Respond to ad hoc data requests and support business requests when needed.
- Collaborate with business units to gather financial data and validate assumptions.
- Support the annual budgeting process by collecting data and coordinating with departments.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly and quarterly generation of reports.
- Support on PR requests.
- Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and other financial metrics.
- Participate in financial system updates and reporting automation.
- Support internal and external audit requirements related to FP&A activities.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business management; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in development with understanding of leisure and entertainment or real estate sectors.
- Brings a combination of financial experience, with main focus on robotic process automation, digital finance, and ability to analyze large amounts of raw data.
- Experience in a top-tier consulting firm with in-depth knowledge or understanding of development, leisure and entertainment, or real estate sectors.
- Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization.
