The EHS Advisor supports the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of the Construction EHS Plan on site.
The role is predominantly field‑based, with a strong on‑site presence, ensuring that construction activities are executed in compliance with Exyte, client, and applicable regulatory EHS requirements, while actively promoting a safe and incident‑free workplace.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Perform site safety supervision through regular inspections and walkthroughs to identify unsafe conditions and behaviours
- Monitor construction activities and ensure corrective actions from inspections, audits, and EHS meetings are implemented
- Provide on‑site EHS guidance and support to Construction Managers, Supervisors, and workers
- Verify the implementation and adequacy of RAMS, Safe Plans of Action (SPA/LMRA), and work permits where required
- Monitor site infrastructure (escape routes, emergency routes, traffic, lighting) and report deficiencies
- Escalate unsafe situations immediately and support emergency response and Incident Free Workplace (IFW) initiatives
Show your expertise
- Degree (Bac +2 or equivalent) in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
- Minimum 2 years of construction site experience in an EHS role
- Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and hazard identification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working on site
- Computer literacy for EHS monitoring, reporting, and documentation
- Fluent French (mandatory) and English level B2 minimum; EHS trainings (SST, working at height, scaffolding) are a plus
