The Specialist EHS - Environmental (m/f/d) is responsible for the implementation, coordination, and continuous improvement of environmental performance on assigned projects. The role ensures full compliance regulatory requirements, environmental certification, and Exyte policies, with a focus on minimizing environmental impact during construction and project execution.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously update the Project Environmental Management Execution Plan, ensuring full compliance with regulations, permits, and client requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and manage environmental risks (e.g., emissions, waste, water, noise, contamination), maintaining accurate aspects and impacts registers.
  • Establish monitoring systems and ensure accurate collection, validation, and reporting of environmental performance data via internal systems.
  • Oversee contractor compliance, providing guidance on environmental controls, waste management, and pollution prevention best practices.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits, identify non-conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions, including incident investigation and management.
  • Promote environmental awareness and continuous improvement through training, sustainability initiatives, and performance optimization (e.g., waste reduction, recycling).

Show your expertise

  • Successfully completed education / studies as Master / Technician / Engineer or other formal EHS qualification (SiFA, Nebosh)
  • First professional experience in the field of EHS in major industrial, construction or manufacturing industries
  • Demonstrated ability to work in Teams of different cultural backgrounds, hierarchical levels, and skill sets
  • Very good German skills, good English skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel and stay on site over longer time-period
