Specialist Engineer - Electrical (Johor, Malaysia)
We are seeking a Specialist Electrical Engineer with a strong consultancy background to support the design and delivery of data center projects. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience who are eager to grow their expertise in a fast-paced, consultancy-driven environment.
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for data center projects, including power distribution, UPS, and backup systems.
- Prepare and update technical documentation, drawings, and reports under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support coordination activities between internal teams, clients, and contractors.
- Participate in design reviews, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of data center project experience.
- Consultancy Background: Mandatory.
- Software Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam (required).
- Knowledge of other electrical design software is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, documentation, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a consultancy environment.
