What is Specialist/Expert Fix Network NOC?

FIX NOC Specialist is responsible for Transport network configuration covering Microwave, Optical, IP, FIX Customers in 24*7 shifts

The role reports directly to the Manager TXN\IP-NOC with an extended team of 11 team members

What does Specialist/Expert Fix Network NOC do?

Key responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Hands on experience on Juniper, Huawei and Cisco (including SRX / ASA / Fortinet) & IP nodes.
• Analyzing existing hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Creating and implementing scalable Juniper/Huawei networks according to client specifications.
• Testing and troubleshooting installed Juniper/Huawei systems.
• Resolving technical issues with networks, hardware, and software.
• Performing speed and security tests on installed networks.
• Applying network security upgrades.
• Upgrading/replacing hardware and software systems when required.
• Proactive Analysis/ good troubleshooting & analytical skills, i.e. perform detailed analysis for repetitive outages to find the root cause and support concern teams for the earlier resolution.
• Ensure Network L2 support to Nationwide operational field teams.
• Handling Nationwide activities (Roll out/ND/Operations).
• Highlighting and identifying network fault, follow up till closure.

Requirements

• 4-6 Years of experience,
• Holds BS Electrical/Telecommunications/Electronics degree
• Must have excellent Microsoft office skills, IP Certification i.e. JNCIP, CCNP, HCNP will be added advantage.
• Must have excellent communication skills and able to promote the department and technology portfolio with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced, holistic view of any competing viewpoints and last but not the least, Candidate must be a good team player.
