Specialist Group Accounting (m/f/d)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for the TRATON Group, covering nearly 300 consolidated entities, with a strong focus on optimizing consolidation processes, enhancing system efficiency, and driving continuous improvement in Group financial reporting.
• Collaborate with our brands - Scania, MAN, International, Volkswagen Truck & Bus as well as Financial Services and the parent company Volkswagen AG on group accounting, consolidation matters, and finance processes, with a focus on preparing the organization for upcoming technologies and future reporting requirements.
• Prepare the quarterly and annual reports for the TRATON Group and collaborate closely with colleagues from Accounting Standards, Controlling, Treasury, Investor Relations, and other relevant functions.
• Participate in group-wide accounting and finance projects, including the further development and establishment of our consolidation system.

YOUR SKILLS

• Successfully completed university degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field, ideally with a focus on group accounting and finance processes.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Finance, particularly in Accounting and/or Controlling, combined with excellent knowledge of finance and accounting processes, financial systems, automation initiatives, and international finance system landscapes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, manage competing priorities, and interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the company.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Flexibility and passion for working in a fast-changing environment.
• Proactive mindset with a strong motivation to build structures from scratch and drive continuous improvement.
• / Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
