Designs and delivers arts, music, or sports enrichment programmes for children aged 18 months to 6 years, plans lessons, and trains staff.
Role Summary
The Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering engaging enrichment programmes that support the holistic development of children aged 18 months to 6 years. Working closely with centre teams, the Specialist facilitates high-quality learning experiences within their area of expertise, monitors children's progress, develops programme resources, manages curriculum planning development, supports events and projects, and contributes to staff training to ensure overall effective and consistent programme delivery within the centre/across centres as assigned.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Design, plan, and implement engaging enrichment programmes and lessons within the specialist domain.
Facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences and teach foundational skills to children aged 18 months to 6 years old.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment during all activities.
Document children's learning, participation, and development.
Maintain programme records and monitor progress to support continuous programme improvement.
Plan, prepare, and manage resources, equipment, materials, and learning environments required for programme delivery.
Track, maintain, clean, sanitize, and replenish specialist resources and equipment as required.
Collaborate with centre leaders and educators to coordinate classes and programme schedules.
Support centres in specialist-related activities, performances, showcases, events, and projects when required.
Work closely and coordinate with Operations and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of enrichment programmes.
Prepare communication materials and updates for families regarding programme activities and children's learning experiences.
Assist in the planning and delivery of camps, workshops, performances, exhibitions, sports events, and other enrichment initiatives.
Participate in company-wide, centre-based, and cross-functional projects as assigned.
Support ad hoc projects and initiatives related to the specialist area when required.
Participate in the research, development, review, and enhancement of curriculum, programmes, and training materials.
Conduct training and sharing sessions for teachers and centre leaders.
Research, curate, adapt, develop and enhance teaching and learning resources to support children's learning and educator professional development.
Key Skills and Competencies
Passionate about engaging and nurturing children aged 18 months to 6 years old
Strong communication skills with a good command of English
Creative, energetic, and confident in facilitating engaging, hands-on learning experiences
Able to adapt lessons to meet varying developmental needs and learning styles
Strong organisational, planning, and classroom management skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Comfortable facilitating workshops, presentations, and training sessions
Willing to travel between centres and support programme implementation across multiple locations, as needed
For roles involving physical activities, comfortable conducting lessons in indoor and outdoor environments and ensuring children's safety during participation
Professional behaviour and adherence to centre guidelines
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Arts, Music, Dance, Performing Arts, Sports Science, Physical Education, Early Childhood Education, or related fields)
Relevant professional certifications within the specialist field
Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children
