This role will directly report to HR Manager, Talent Management to support the designing, coordination, and execution of trainings and talent development initiatives that build workforce capability, support leadership pipelines, and align with the strategic objectives of the Organization. This role contributes to creating a learning culture/Organization and developing a future-ready workforce at Ansell Textiles Lanka Pvt Ltd. In addition to that, overlook the performance management system align with Ansell global and collaboratively work with all stake holders while delivering set objectives of the HR department.

What your role will be?

  • Collaborate with all the HODs/departments to identify training needs across all levels through Training Needs Analysis (TNA).

  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of technical, behavioral, compliance, and safety training programs.

  • Liaise with internal & external facilitators, and institutions to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

  • Maintain training calendars, attendance records, feedback forms, and training documentation as per compliance and audit requirements.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness using post-training assessments, feedback analysis, and on-the-job performance indicators and make sure to complete the entire Training cycle.

  • Uplift standards and outcome of the training process through innovation with technology.

  • Maintain and regularly update all policies, procedures, and SOPs related to Talent Management and Development to ensure alignment with organizational requirements.

  • Facilitate the implementation of APS initiatives within HR to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for professional cadre employees at the plant, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience.

Performance Management

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the organization’s performance management framework aligned with strategic objectives.

  • Drive annual and mid-year performance review processes, including goal setting, calibration, feedback facilitation, and system readiness.

  • Provide guidance, training, and coaching to managers and employees on effective performance management practices to build capability and drive a high-performance culture.

  • Assist with Manager – Talent on generating performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for talent development, succession planning, and reward integration.

  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to address performance-related issues, ensuring fair, consistent, and policy-compliant practices.

  • Prepare and present performance insights and recommendations to HR leadership to support strategic decision-making.

  • Make sure to maintain high accuracy of data and information with regards to the process.

Talent Management

  • Support the implementation of talent management initiatives, including talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development programs.

  • Coordinate and facilitate talent processes such as talent assessments, career development planning, and emerging talent programs.

  • Maintain and update talent data, ensuring accuracy in talent profiles, succession plans, and development tracking systems.

  • Assist in analysing talent data to generate reports and insights for HRBPs and business leaders to inform talent decisions.

  • Coordinate individual development plans (IDPs) and support leadership development initiatives such as mentoring, coaching, and cross-functional projects.

  • Facilitate onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration and engagement of new hires.

  • Promote a culture of growth and internal mobility by supporting communication, awareness, and participation in talent programs.

  • Support the implementation of employee engagement surveys and development action plans.

Audit & Compliance Support

  • Ensure training and development activities meet social compliance, buyer, and certification requirements (e.g., ISO, WRAP, F11).

  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation for internal reviews and external audits.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date training and talent data in HRIS or Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Provide monthly dashboards and analytics on training hours, coverage, and talent pipeline progress.

  • Make sure to maintain all the data related to (Training, PMS, Talent) in good manner and communicate with relevant stake holders and Global teams etc.

Compliance with EHS standards

  • Maintain compliance with all internal and external EHS rules, regulations, and other Risk Management requirements.

  • Actively use the safety calendar (or contribute to the activities prescribed in the supervisor’s/manager’s calendar) as an accountability tool to measure safety performance and to promote the development of a EHS culture.

  • Follow the requirements of the 5-point safety charter.

Compliance with QMS system

  • Ensure that processes are delivering their intended outputs with complying to the ATL-QMS & responsible to implement, maintain & continuous development in relevant processes in accordance with ATL-QMS.

Communication

·Make sure all the communications related given scope aligning with local and global, subordinates are aware of the plans targets and their dates of accomplishments IDs etc.

·Give feedback to teams through effective communication methods.

·Keep higher management updated with the progress of achievements of planned targets and any deviations revisions of same continuously.

What will you bring to Ansell?

Qualification, Knowledge, and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field. (A postgraduate qualification in HR or L&D is an added advantage.)

  • 2–5 years of experience in Learning & Development and/or Talent Management, preferably in a manufacturing or textile industry.

  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, digital learning tools, and performance management processes, Previous experience in Talent Management would be an added advantage.
