This role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional neonatal care within a private healthcare setting, contributing to the health and wellbeing of newborn infants and their families.

As a specialist neonatologist within the private healthcare group, you will be responsible for delivering expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of newborn infants with critical medical conditions. You will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide specialized neonatal care to critically ill or premature newborn infants within a private healthcare environment.
  • Conduct thorough assessments including physical exams and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with families, providing guidance and support throughout treatment and care processes.
  • Participate in continuous medical education and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols pertaining to neonatal care.

Requirements

  • Medical degree with valid licensure as a specialist neonatologist.
  • Proven experience in neonatal intensive care within private healthcare settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neonatal medical conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Certification or fellowship training in neonatology.
  • Experience working in well-equipped private hospitals or healthcare groups.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical governance and patient safety.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and complex cases efficiently.
