Specialist Pediatric ER

This position is exclusively open to European based doctors seeking relocation to Dubai.
An experienced specialist pediatric ER physician is sought for a prestigious private sector healthcare facility. This role focuses on delivering expert emergency care to pediatric patients in a state-of-the-art environment, ensuring prompt and effective treatment for children presenting with critical conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, compassionate care tailored to the needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess and stabilize pediatric patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of acute medical emergencies and injuries in children.
• Perform essential emergency procedures including airway management, laceration repair, and vascular access.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients’ families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation within electronic medical record systems.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and training initiatives within the private healthcare setting.

Requirements

• Medical degree with completed Pediatrics residency and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Active medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in pediatric emergency medicine, preferably within a private sector setting.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with children and families.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to patient care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to private healthcare standards.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and medical technology.
