Key responsibilities
- Perform pediatric surgical procedures, including both elective and emergency surgeries, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Assess and diagnose surgical conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
- Develop individualized surgical treatment plans and provide post-operative care and follow-up.
- Collaborate effectively with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding surgical options, risks, and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in pediatric surgery and integrate new techniques and best practices as appropriate.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in pediatric surgery.
- Board certification in pediatric surgery or equivalent qualification.
- Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Proven clinical experience in pediatric surgical procedures.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric surgical anatomy, techniques, and post-operative care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams.
