Key responsibilities
- Perform detailed cardiac assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases including arrhythmias, heart failure, and ischemic heart disease.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive cardiac care.
- Provide patient education and counseling on lifestyle modifications and disease prevention.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
- Maintain accurate patient records adhering to clinical governance and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in cardiology from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in cardiology is preferred.
- Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
- Proven experience managing patients with complex cardiac conditions in hospital or clinical settings.
- Strong diagnostic, procedural, and clinical management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
