Specialist, Port Solutions

Summary of position:

We are looking for a self-starter Product Specialist / Asst. Manager to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide service and customer support during field visits
• Manage all on site installation/commissioning, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
• Handling warranty cases & repairs
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Coordinate with technical experts from plants for support on technical issues on cranes
• Ensure to follow safety procedures and act when safety breach is observed
• Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
• Share relevant information across the service team
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
• Be a team player

Requirements and Skills:

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechatronics
• Proven Field Service experience for Mobile Harbour Cranes and Heavy Port Equipment
• Technical degree or certification (Electrical/Elecronics /Mechatronics/Mechanical)
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service port equipment
• Good technical knowledge on drives, servo hydraulics and mechanical assemblies
• English literacy
• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
• Customer service minded with good communication skills
• Proactively involve in marketing of after sales products
• Generate sales lead for service products
