Where regulation meets the sales floor
At JazzWorld, connectivity is more than infrastructure - it is the foundation that enables millions of people and businesses to connect, transact and access digital services every day.
As Specialist Regulatory Affairs, you will support the implementation and oversight of Jazz’s SIM Sale Enforcement Framework, ensuring compliance with PTA’s BVS SOPs and applicable regulatory directives across all authorized sales channels. You will report directly to the Expert Regulatory Operations. The role has 1 direct report and an extended team of 7.
You will monitor compliance, identify and assess violations, coordinate and conduct field inspections, maintain enforcement records and drive timely corrective and preventive actions. You will work closely with HQ Regulatory Operations, Regional Corporate & Regulatory Affairs (C&RA), Commercial/Sales and other functions to strengthen sales-channel governance, mitigate regulatory risk and promote consistent implementation of regulatory requirements across Jazz’s nationwide operations.
What you’ll own
- Monitor compliance with PTA’s BVS SIM Sale SOPs and applicable regulatory directives across Experience Centers, franchises, retailers, temporary outlets and other authorized sales points.
- Plan and coordinate routine, random, surprise and targeted field inspections with Regional C&RA and Commercial/Sales teams to assess on-ground compliance.
- Identify, document and analyze SIM sale violations, irregularities, recurring trends and control gaps using field observations, complaints, system reports and available intelligence.
- Maintain a centralized record of violations, supporting evidence, investigation outcomes, corrective actions and case status for proper documentation and traceability.
- Report material, repeated or systemic violations to HQ Regulatory Operations, escalate significant regulatory risks and report to PTA as per regulatory requirement.
- Coordinate with relevant functions to develop, implement and track corrective and preventive action plans, including retraining, enhanced monitoring and process improvements.
- Assess violations by nature, severity, frequency, recurrence and regulatory impact, and recommend proportionate actions in line with the approved framework and applicable contractual/regulatory requirements.
- Engage regularly with Regional C&RA teams to review inspection findings, validate reported violations and track remediation.
- Analyze SIM sale data, exception reports, complaints and inspection findings to identify high-risk channels and recurring non-compliance.
- Work with Commercial/Sales, Technology, Legal and other teams to investigate issues, validate evidence and resolve compliance gaps.
- Support periodic reviews of the Enforcement Framework, inspection checklists, reporting templates and internal controls to improve consistency, transparency and accountability.
What success looks like
- Regular SIM sale compliance and enforcement reports, dashboards and management updates are delivered, along with effective reporting to PTA.
- Field inspections are documented with clear reports, violation records and supporting evidence.
- A centralized enforcement case tracker shows clear ownership, status, timelines and escalation history.
- Serious, repeated or systemic violations are escalated on time.
- Corrective and preventive action plans are monitored and closed within agreed timelines.
- Violation trends, high-risk sales channels and recurring compliance gaps are analyzed periodically, with recommendations to strengthen controls, inspection coverage and enforcement effectiveness.
- Inspection checklists, SOPs and enforcement documentation are kept up to date, and regional enforcement activities are assessed periodically with follow-up actions.
