Specialist / Senior Specialist (Maintenance)
Summary
Maintains and repairs lift systems, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical faults on-site using diagnostic tools and providing technical guidance to teams.
Location - Central Zone / East Zone
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Lead or support maintenance teams in performing repair, replacement, and daily operations for lift systems.
- Troubleshoot lift equipment on-site using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, current meters, and oscilloscopes.
- Assist in resolving electrical engineering matters and provide technical guidance during maintenance and repair works.
- Conduct field assessments, identify root causes of equipment faults, and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with team and supervisor on site coordination, operations follow-up, and project-related matters.
- Standby duties during nights, weekends, and public holidays may be required. Standby allowance will be provided.
Job Requirements
Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills and familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with team and clients at all levels.
Preferably possess own transport for site travel.
