Summary:As the Specialty Room Server, you are responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service in a specialty dining venue. You demonstrate strong product knowledge, take and serve orders accurately, and ensure guest satisfaction through professional and attentive service. Your attention to detail and passion for hospitality contribute to an exceptional dining experience and support departmental service goals.
Job Description:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, daily specials, and beverage offerings, including beer, wine, and spirits
- Present menus and use suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and input into POS system using Universal Seating guidelines
- Serve food and drinks according to standards, and process payments following accounting procedures
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction; communicate issues to management as needed
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Support team members with food running, side work, and drink service as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in a full-service dining venue
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements
- Frequently push/pull, lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer

- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
