Responsibilities

The Spiritual Health and Education Resident is a paid time-limited one-year position for learners in a CPE program accredited by the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE, Inc.). Residents are selected to join the program through an application process under the guidelines of ACPE, Inc. CPE training is most often undertaken to meet requirements for professional chaplain certification, to earn academic credit in graduate programs for theological education, and to meet the ecclesial requirements for ordination, faith group endorsement, or the equivalent.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Graduate of an approved and/or accredited program of theological education

PREFERRED

  • Successful completion of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education in a program accredited by ACPE, Inc..
  • Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or other Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Ordination, license or endorsement by an acknowledged ecclesiastical body or specialized spiritual/philosophical/religious group.

Work Hours:

8:00AM-4:30pm
